Warehouses Upgrade Project

We nalized the hugest upgrade in Hawkary main warehouses in 2013.
This upgrade was done to comply with the principles of Good Distribution Practices
(GDP) to match the European standards and US FDA regulations in pharmaceutical
distribution.
One of the advanced systems that have been used in the warehouses is the racking
system with number for each location; this number is reected on the computer.
Other changes that have been done are having separate receiving and shipping
areas, installing data loggers which automatically measure temperature and humidity
inside the warehouse in order to maintain the appropriate storage condition for our
products. We also implement a pest control system to protect our warehouses from
any infestation by insects.

• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and injection of new qualified experts.

• Hawkary has adopted an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP system)
which is an integrated computer system that facilitates information flow
between all business functions inside the organization, ERP system will
integrate our regional offices with its branches all over Iraq in order to improve
and serve our customers with a good quality product and service, also improving
on time delivery system and keep track of all delivery points. The software that
is going to be used is Microsoft software (Dynamics).
The system is fully functioning in the entire branches, and by that Hawkary is
the first pharmaceutical company to apply ERP system in Iraq.
